![]() ![]() Food as fabulous as ever, my husband thought the white wine choice a bit limited, but I didn't mind as I stuck to champagne! We had an early start so our fridge had been filled with breakfast goodies the night before. There was a function in the main restaurant that evening so we ate in a smaller annexe which was fine, apart from a large number of flies flying around which we weren't keen on. On our return we arrived earlier and the weather was good so we could sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet after the long drive. We asked for breakfast in our room, and sandwiches to take on our onward journey, which were supplied very generously. There is an excellent restaurant which is a perfect introduction to French cooking with a great outlook over the countryside. On our first visit we arrived early evening and it was raining, but the accommodation was extremely spacious with everything you would need, and is set up for self catering if required. We were keen to stay somewhere out of town which would have everything we would need. We stayed here driving our way south and on our return home recently, having a holiday in the South of France when all our other plans had been cancelled.
